Dan Leibundgut
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Dan came to Ohio in 1988 to work as an announcer at WHLO-AM radio in Akron. A 1987 graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York with a BA in Communications Arts & Sciences, Dan worked as an intern at WCBS-TV and CBS News and Sports during college working on such shows at the NFL Today and NCAA Today. Since moving to Ohio he has worked as Marketing Director of the Towpath Credit Union in Akron and spent seven years as Sales Promotion Manager and Advertising and Marketing Manager at Crain’s Cleveland Business. Now is the Executive Director of the American Advertising Federation - Cleveland.
Dan is also president of The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and has served on its board for seven years. As a trombone player he is currently the music director of the Northeast Ohio Jazz Orchestra. He also enjoys music, sports, especially golf, gardening and cooking. He lives with his wife Andrea in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
