Johnny Cochran
A native of Cleveland's south west side, Johnny
attended Cleveland School of the Arts and Cuyahoga Community College simultaneously during high school, studying saxophone with Ernie Krivda. He has had the opportunity to perform with world renowned artists such as Clark Terry,
Carl Allen, Jason and Wynton Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Mike Lee, Billy Hart, and Rodney
Whitaker. Johnny studies with Gary Bartz at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he will be beginnig his third year this fall. In addition to the saxophone, his primary instrument, Johnny is
proficient at the piano, drums, and various woodwind instruments.
