Join us for our 37th season, Women in Jazz, at our new home, the Maltz Performing Arts Center!

We will be offering season subscriptions, allowing you to select your seats for the entire season, with packages as low as $100!

The greatest jazz composer of our generation, Maria Schneider, conducts her Grammy Award winning album Data Lords.

with The Musical Theater Project

The Musical Theater Project and the CJO team up for our annual crowd-pleasing collaboration, celebrating the Gershwins’ contributions to Broadway, with a mix of history, songs, and videos.

“Mardi Gras Gets the Gospel”

Friday, February 11th at 7:30 p.m.

 

The ecstasy of New Orleans meets the joy of the gospel as the CJO combines forces with a dazzling array of soloists and local gospel choirs, featuring Reginald Bowens and Adrianna Miller.

“Velvet on Ivory”

with Velvet Brown & Ellen Rowe
Saturday, March 26th at 7:30 p.m.

 

The CJO welcomes tubist Velvet Brown and composer/pianist Ellen Rowe to share an evening of music and memories. A new commission from Ellen Rowe will be premiered.

“The Art of the Jazz Violin”

with violinist Regina Carter

Friday, May 20th at 7:30 p.m.

The CJO season will finish with MacArthur Genius Award winning violinist, Regina Carter, who will help us celebrate 38 years of bringing jazz to Northeast Ohio.
