Spring is on its way!

…and with it, we’ll be bringing lots more great jazz to our fans!

First of all, many thanks to the great audiences at Beachland Ballroom and BLU Jazz+ for a most memorable set of concerts. The standing ovations that called for more tunes were really appreciated, but if you were there with us, you know the band had really already left all they had to give in the prior tunes.

Also, AKRON, you’re the best!
Thanks for another sellout at BLU Jazz+!
Now, on to our next shows!

The Inaugural “Women in Jazz” Concert – Regina Carter

New in our 35th year is the launch of our “Women in Jazz” series. We are very excited about our first guest artist, Regina Carter, who is a Downbeat Award winder, a Doris Duke Artist and a MacArthur Genius Aware winner. She is an internationally recognized figure whose artistry spans an incredibly wide gamut, ensuring that there will truly be “something for everyone” in this show.

Join us on Saturday, May 9th, at the Maltz Performing Arts Center for a fantastic event.

Tickets are available here: http://bit.ly/2SduWy3Women

We want to hear from YOU!

This year, we’ve tried to expand our geographic imprint and have created some new themes to attract new listeners to the CJO. It is always VERY striking how many people in our crowds see us for the first time at our shows, even after 35 years. At our January show, nearly two thirds of the audience had never seen us. So to make the best decisions moving forward, we’d love to hear from you.
What do YOU love about the CJO? What do you want MORE of??? Drop us a line at: Booking@clevelandjazz.org
