The Pulse of Progress
NEA Jazz Master, Doris Duke Award Winner, and Grammy Winner Terri Lyne Carrington has long been one of jazz’s most unique voices in composing, and on drums, and voice. Her tunes are not easily quantified or described. Angles, shapes, gestures.......and swing! For this performance, the CJO will be presenting some world premiere arrangements of Terri's music for big band.
