Spotlight on Beachland Ballroom!

It’s been too long...

...since we’ve been at the Beachland Ballroom, but we are heading back soon! On Thursday, February 20, 2020, the CJO will be there to perform our next show, “The Big Easy Meets the Northcoast - It’s Mardi Gras Time!” Join us at this gem of a venue for a New Orleans inspired celebration!

Heart of the Waterloo Arts District

Nestled in the Collinwood neighborhood in the renovated Croatian Liberty Hall, the Beachland Ballroom opened its doors in 2000 and has seen a wide range of acts including Akron’s Black Keys, Guided by Voices and The White Stripes. Over the years, it’s become a beloved concert venue across music genres. And since the opening of the Beachland Ballroom, the neighborhood has become a hub for the Northeast Ohio artistic community, with live music, a variety of restaurants and cafes, record shops and galleries. With so many great spots in one place, you can easily make an evening of it by catching dinner or drinks at the Beachland Ballroom, as well as at one of the surrounding restaurants and bars. You can also check out This Way Out, a vintage shop in the basement of the Beachland.
